Starting Over Again

It always seems that I am starting over again and again. I used to worry about this, however, I now realize that this is what makes life interesting. New opportunities, new years, new months, new weeks, and a new day. All the possibilities of having a full life.

Often times I have met people who are muddled down, depressed, and sad. What is the difference between me and them? I look as depression as a short break to reorganize my self and not as an excuse for performance. I know that there is someone looking for the opportunity that I have to share with them. Perhaps today is the day!

Always have hope, never give up, be positive, and pray.

Insight of the Day

Baseball - The All American Game

Yesterday, I took my newest grandson, Nathan (7 weeks old) to watch his first Major League Baseball Game - the New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels, of course, the Yankees won 3-2 and Nathan loved it. It was very hot, 101 degrees, but he loves the heat, and we were in the shaded area of the stadium. Nathan was dressed appropriately in his first New York Yankees uniform, while his dad, Nate was in his Angels gear.

I have always loved baseball, in fact, if I had been born a man, I would have most likely have strived to be a Major League Baseball Player. Although, we have numerous problems and stress in our lives, to take the time out and enjoy a game helps one to forget about those other pressures.

I pray that this will be the first of many games that I get to enjoy with Nathan. Next time, we will go to a Los Angeles Dodgers game perhaps Opening Day next Spring.....it is always fun to think about the future and to make plans.
